Holy Cross education is
unique and phenomenal in many ways. In its uniqueness it excels in both
curricular and co-curricular activities. Like Blessed Basil Moreau, our
Founder, in whose spirit and blessing the foundation has grown to its stature,
HCEF had humble beginnings to become a prominent and influential force to
reckon with in Northeast India and in
particular in the state of Tripura. The Holy Cross Educational Foundation has
schools affiliated to different state boards, CBSE and ICSE. The only unaided private English Medium
College in Tripura (affiliated to Tripura Central University) is efficiently
managed by HCEF.
This is the age of the generation alpha (children born from 2010), who would rather prefer a mobile phone than a pet to play with; the children born to the millennials. They are tech-savvy and inquisitive more about technology than ever. Education has become as challenging as parenting is today. It is in this context that the cooperation and congruent efforts of all the stake holders of the educational institutions will determine the future of the students who are entrusted to our care.
The pandemic has disrupted the otherwise peaceful academic atmosphere in the country. Holy Cross Educational Institutions has risen to the occasion confronting the challenges in a proactive way by effectively organizing online classes and evaluation. The institutions also reached out to those students who were reluctant to continue schooling for various reasons emerging out of the pandemic. We are adopting a ‘solutionist approach’ to identify and implement creative and innovative short-term and long-term solutions to the challenges thrown open by the pandemic. In our endeavour to provide the best education possible, even in the tenacious situation, we leave no stone unturned; we shall overcome.
